To do what we do requires skilled and passionate people. Many of our projects involve our Associates, who are either individual experts in their own right, or are organisations working on causes we support. As we are inclusive, we try to build programmes in partnership with our Associates. It is more fun, expands networks and builds better programs.

Ideally, you’ll already have significant work experience and a passion to learn more. Join us, and you’ll gain the opportunity to work on live deals and deliver projects of exceptional value.

Getting Started

You’ll team with us for 8 – 10 weeks during the break before your final year of study. Throughout the program, you’ll develop a broad base of knowledge and a detailed understanding of your chosen business area.

Your Associate position is a job with real impact. In addition to daily assignments, you’ll receive a unique project that is your responsibility. As a valued colleague and collaborator, this project will reflect your contribution to the SBSC. At the end of your internship, you’ll present this project as part of your evaluation.

Going Forward

For your growth, we organize a cross-divisional series of presentations by senior managers. This will introduce you to the variety of our business areas and functions. Throughout the internship, you’ll also attend various social events and take part in a community-based teamwork event. This will help develop your professional network, which will prove to be a lasting and vital career resource. Structured performance feedback will make sure that you are getting the most out of your time with us and help identify areas of strength or development.

Prepare to work with and learn from some of the most talented minds. To succeed, you’ll need a high level of integrity and professionalism. Outstanding academic achievement is essential, as is an excellent command of the English language. Our internships offer unique insights and an inside perspective of SBSC. The internship is your opportunity to demonstrate your desire and ability to build a long-term career with us. Many Associate Interns join our Associate Training Program the following year.
